Does anyone know of a source for small lots of foam glass block (Wooden Boat 126). The supplier provided in the Wooden Boat article will only sell case lots, and i really don't need a lifetime supply. Thanks.

But locally to you, any janitor supply/chemical company - they're called grill blocks. $1.65 each if you buy 12 at my local store.

I bought a case from a "Waffle House" manager about ten years ago,(About Twenty Bucks) Just ask for grill bricks----they use them to clean off the crud from the grills.

A great big thanks to all responders for the good leads on sources of "fart blocken"...picked up a case of 12 "grill bricks"($24)from a resturant supplier less than a mile from my home...epoxied four to a piece of plywood to make a "torture board" for fairing the hull on my Ocean Pointer under construction...thanks again...
