I am staying at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, Md this weekend, and would like to do some boat-watching and/or some kind of tour of historic boats. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I might start? There is alot to see around here, but I have limited time, so I want to target my search.
Thanks.

Pride of Baltimore II if she's in port is definitely worth a look.

Make the run to St. Michaels. It's worth it.

Well, you could come visit me, I've got a wooden boat! Seriously, you can see the Constellation (wood), Torsk and Chesapeake lightship, all in the Inner Harbor. John W Brown and NV Savannah would require a taxi ride. The aquarium and science center are also worth a look.

I haven't been there (it opened after I left Baltimore) but the Frederick Douglas Isaac Myers Maritime Park sounds really interesting:

Myers was an African-American man who started out as ship's carpenter and later ran a shipbuilding company in the late 19th century.
For more info on maritime-related attractions near the Inner Harbor, you'll find links to just about everything here:

Unfortunately, she appears to be in NYC as of Sept. 29.

She's due back in Baltimore for an event on October 11, but I don't see any indication of when she'll arrive. A bloody shame you won't be in Baltimore then -- the Schooner Sultana from Chestertown will also be there.

The Minnie V skipjack is often (or used to be) in the inner harbor and sails out to Fort McHenry several times a day...

Thanks everybody for the suggestions. I was able to visit the USS Constellation, and see where they are replacing some hull planks (although the word 'planks' does not really convey the dimensions of the wood used on a ship of that size). I could see a few more wooden spars in the harbor from my hotel room, but I did not have time to track them down. I did find a great Irish pub nearby that had live real Irish music. I knew it would be a good place when the taxi driver had not even heard of it. The pub is J. Patricks, and I highly recommend it. The owner/bartender is ex-Navy. He asked me my name, shook my hand and told me his, then called me by name the rest of the (long and late) evening. The Irish music was by a band called 'Hedgerows' from the DC and Baltimore area. I poked around a few marinas, but did not see Airle.
Here are two pictures - the quality is low because of the light, and because I was using my cell phone camera.
