OK banjo, Looks like it worked. North Shore Dinghy built in 2000. Center for Wooden Boats, Seattle. Eric Hvalsoe builder with class. I'm guessing on the year, as Eric and the staff there didn't remember. Baker Boat Works, Bob Baker design, 1963.

What's going on along the glue joint of the transom? Has it split? Is that daylight I can see through there?

Incidentally, Eric is teaching a class right now. He and a handful of CWB students are building a Lake Oswego boat, which I believe will be for sale by CWB after the boat is done in a week or so.

Hey Yeadon, You've got good eyes. Yeah it was like that when purchased. I couldn't find evidence of mechanical fasteners, splines etc. So I cleaned it out well and mixed some Smith & Co. tropic wood epoxy thickened with Mahog. dust. It took over an hour to force it through the seam with a putty knife. All I have there now is a narrow dark glue line. You see the light there because I pulled the stern sheets to get better access. I'm at work on them at this moment. They were painted ply, and had started to check. I'll replace them with solid DF someday. Here is another shot of her. http://s224.photobucket.com/albums/dd168/jomac721/Boats/?action=view&current=P7110029.jpg JC
