A Lyman Islander side steer has two steering locations....I have just acquired 1 wheel - chrome over brass with the words Lyman Islander cast within it - I am looking for another. It measures abour 12 inch in diameter......does anyone have one or know of a source. Thanks Cliff

Oh, boy... good luck finding a proprietary part like that! You could scan eBay for years and never find one. Probably your best bet would be to take it to a local foundry and have them cast a duplicate for you. The original may well be suitable for use as a pattern, although there'd be a slight reduction in size due to shrinkage, but not likely enough to notice, providing you allowed for machining the hub hole to the right size after casting. A reasonable foundry shouldn't charge you too much for the job. Not cheap, but surely a lot more certain than trying to find an original.

There is a guy in north east Ohio they call Mr. Lyman. I talked to him a couple of years ago about one of those wheels. He had several from well used to nearly new. Prices IIRC $500 to $1200 ea. If you are still intersted I can get a phone number from the guy that sent me there in the first place.
