Hi Guys,

I've been working on something that may be of interest to a few here. I'm currently restoring an old Hartley TS16 and in looking for images on the web to get ideas, I wasn't finding much.

With the support of a number of Hartley TS16 owners and now TS18 I've set up a searchable gallery of images. It has been opened up to all TS models ie TS12, TS14, TS16, TS18 and TS21.

Hope it helps anyone looking to build or restore a Hartley TS

That must have taken a bit of effort, much appreciated.

Hi David,

great site, is the DS Network your site as well or just a host site? Looks interesting.

You have me inspired to get my a into g and get my Hartley 16 on the water when I go home next weekend, some great pics and some nice Hartleys. Where are you located?

cheers
Greg

I've often wondered why more information was not available on these popular boats. Good job on the great site :-)

Thanks guys,

to try and answer some of your questions... yes DS Networks is mine as well. the reason the Gallery is tacked on is that it started as an idea based on the fact that if I wanted it, surely a class so popular would mean many others were craving it. well... in a nut shell it has taken off.

Me I'm in the hills outside of Melbourne

I'm lead to believe a number of you have Hartleys stashed away... I would love to add images of both interiors and exteriors to the site. drop me a line if you are willing to have your Hartley pictured in the public domain... the more the merrier.

Cheers

Cool. I sailed in company with Kari down in Tasmania for a couple of weeks just after she was launched. awesome boat.

Another milestone has been reached in that with 329 images loaded we now have images of every size except for TS12 (which I would love to rectify if anyone out there can help). The last batch of pictures were taken at the try sailing day at the Docklands sailing club. A big thanks go to all of those that let me crawl all over their boats to take pictures.
As well as having good samples of a couple of quality TS21s at different ends of the spectrum, one open plan and one with the cabin divided up, but both extremely user friendly, we also have something a little special. Passing Wind is a TS18 with a difference, it has been fitted with a 2 phase poptop cabin that's well worth a look.
Hopefully you'll be inspired and come up with some great ideas of your own that you can share with the rest of us.
Cheers,
David.
