I'm guessing they mean "An extra set of spars".
It looks like a perfectly well made boat, and having built one, I'd say it's a steal at that price if it hasn't been eaten by bugs.

People are really suffering up this way now. I fear some of the elderly are getting in real trouble and not seeking help out of pride.

It is sad. If I had the means, I'd give them the oil money and tell them to enjoy the boat..... But I don't and I can't.
