Nice shop. Do you like having that many windows? I'd like to build a shop someday and wonder how many windows (if any) to put in. It seems I mostly work on cold Winter evenings so why do I need them?

Nice. Are the tools higher on the wall users or just collecibles?
Is that a Sears 12 inch band saw? If it is, where did you get the bigger table?

I like the windows for the daylight and to see outside. I wish I would have put more windows in, just higher to allow light in but enable you to use the wall space.
It also avoids people looking or breaking in.
Brian
The tools up high are collectors stuff people give me or that I found during renovatons or by tearing old buildings down, The bandsaw is a sears 12 inch and it came with the table extension when I bought it second hand about ten years ago , I just ordered a 17 inch King bandsaw to replace the 12, I never had any problems with the 12, I just have a little extra money to spend on the shop and I have slowly began replacing older equipment.

How much for the broadaxe on the wall? C'mon, name me your price.
Tools shouldn't just be collected, they should be used!

Nice setup.
I will second about the windows. Make sure that you put one opposite your workbench, so that you can look out from there.

With a shop like that, you don't need a house.

Nice shop! That makes two outstanding shops that I have seen today. I went to a cabinet shop a fellow has adjacent to his house today. He does it part time. Man what a set up.
Thanks for the reminder not to post pictures of my shop.:)

Way too clean, way too organized, way too nice.......hrumph!.....I even like the way you tossed a few pieces of wood on the floor to give it that work shop allure.......but you ain't foolin' me! How's a chap to ever do any serious work in a show room like environment like that, I ask? God, it almost looks like my bedroom:)
Nice and fresh here too Darren,-26C ( -14F for the rest ofyas)
Keep a good thought!

Beautiful shop!
Got above 0 F yesterday for the first time in three days. Was -21 F for a long time (- 29 C). I won't even mention the wind chill factor.
