I've fixed the gunwales and coamings and filled the appropriate cavities with flotation foam. Next come the fore & aft decks. Looooook'n good! Make sure that you leave some room under the decks/seats for the foam to expand after it cures. The foam has been known to expand when the temperature gets hot. Not much, but if you fill the cavity right to the top you may have problems.

Sweet progress Rick. Nice to work in the warmer weather eh? Do you plan to have it done to use this summer? I know how often we underestimate the time it takes to do the details. I had planned to get my boat done by mid july, but may not. My design challenge is to make my boat seaworthy enough to use this summer, knowing that I can save some work for next winter, like spraying a good finish on the brightwork, making and installing lighting and canopy top etc.

Keep up the fun - JB

Jeff, I did leave a couple inches between the top of the foam and the deck. I didn't think about the expansion issue, just ran out of foam and didn't want to buy any more! tongue.gif
John, I do hope to finish in time for the WB show in July, but I am not going to kill myself to do it. I have other boats to bring if not but LILY would be fun to putter around in there wouldn't it? Rick
