Hello
I joined this forum several weeks ago and posted a thread loooking for my old (1975 Built by Jespersen in SydneyB.C.) cutter. She was designed for me by Garden and my wife and I sailed to New Zealand and return over a three year cruise and lived aboard for seven of the twenty odd years we owned her.
After we sold DAEDALUS to a young couple with two small children they headed from the West Coast to make a trip to Europe. We have not heard of her since and wonder if anyone with an eye for prertty wooden boats has seen her.
Daedalus was (is?) canoe stern with a low trunk cabin and Sitka spars. Garden included her drawings in his book Yacht Designs on page 72.
Would love to hear of any leads towards finding her fate or wherabouts. Meanwhile, I'v been enjoying the Forum as much as I enjoy boats.
