Tortola Sloop

I'm trying to collect as much information as I can about the Tortola Sloop. I've picked up Douglas Pyles book which as some line drawings.

I'm looking to see if there is any more info on Tortola Sloops out there. Would like to track down some old pictures too. Thanks Fm

I was lucky enough to be on Jost Van Dyke a couple of weeks ago. There is an island sloop being built in a shed behind Foxy's Restaurant by high school students under the sponsorship of the Jost van Dykes Preservation Society (http://www.bvihcg.com/jost.shtml). It is glued carvel over laminated frames, sheathed in glass. Here is a video of the roll over:
