For you Pacific NW (and beyond) boaters who haven't heard about it yet, the Columbia 150 is a boating/camping run down the Columbia - starting at Beacon Rock State Park, and ending at the Port of Ilwaco. It's intended for sailboats with auxiliary power (for those times when the wind on the nose is stronger than the current). However, it looks like there'll be a number of powerboats going along as well. Looks like we'll have folks coming from as far away as Canada and Texas.

This is an unsupported event, and the Columbia is a big river, so you'd best do your homework, and be sure you're comfortable tackling it. For those that are, it'll be some adventure!
