Rage against the night

Just attended a memorial service for a close friend: sad, he left behind 3 young children. Scott raised the bar on friendship- any one of a hundred people would consider him their best friend. Multiyear battle with cancer- I wish I had made it to visit him one last time.... rather than dwell on that, I should strive to reach the bar he set. Not sure why I am writing, just need to get it out. Thanks.

Yer a good man Neal. We all have otterdoos and shuddahduns. Having been on the receiving end of the cancer thing, I understand the small bit that you will hopefully never know. Don't feel bad, he understood.
