Fifty years ago was around the time when I first started spending time in Camden. It's funny that it's now considered a historical time frame. :D
A presentation of photos by Carroll Thayer Berry from the collection of the Penobscot Marine Museum. The talk by Jerry Kaplan will give a snapshot of Camden and the waterfront 50 years ago and include pictures of the schooner fleet which operated out of Camden and Rockland at the time. Mr Berry, a noted artist, illustrator, printmaker, and photographer, lived and worked in and around the Camden/Rockport area from the 1930s until his death in 1978.
