There's more info here: LINK (http://www.boat-links.com/Atkinco/Utilities/Newt.html). Google hasn't come up with any images of it built, has anyone ever seen one?

I didn’t know of this design before you posted your query – there are so many designs by the Atkins! I see that you are building an Oughtred Guillemot as a dinghy for your fabulous project Glala – is this a supplemental or an instead tender? Newt struck me as very small – even smaller when I read the specifications.
Well, that’s all genuine, but it’s also all prequel. In the tradition of the forum you asked about one boat so I’ll suggest another, although it’s in good faith – I thought it comparable when I saw the image you posted.

I'm busy with the Guillemot and her mothership so I'm not going to embark on another right now! But I can't resist a little armchair boatbuilding. Glala did once have two boats, a dinghy and a small motor launch.

You're in (hopefully) good company as few if any of us can resist armchair boatbuilding. The Alden is a favorite of mine. I also understand you don't want the clutter of two dingies if one will serve.
