Sort of reminds me of the old red Owens runabout my dad used to drive around in, big Cadillac tail-fins and a sliding hard-top. We used a tiller outboard because the steering cabling was trashed..

Nope, not mine. It's more of a lake boat. Some friends on a lake in Maine had one that was white and peach color when I was about fifteen. It was fun to waterski behind it at night because of the tail lights, but it was hell to get back aboard out of the water. Those handholds on the topsides aren't original.

I've seen fotos. I think it's kinda cool looking. Of course, I enjoy the classic fiberglass runabouts and cruisers of the 50's & 60's. They had and over-the-top quality that was charming. A lot of the styling cues echoed the auto styling of the day. Does the Fall Flyer remind you a bit of a Nash Rambler?
