"Some "must-see" boats include the 101-foot schooner W.N. Ragland, owned for more than 35 years by musician Neil Young; the 133-foot topsail gaff schooner Adventuress, the festival's largest, built in 1913 as a pleasure yacht and used to hunt bowhead whales in the Southern Hemisphere; and the 127-foot two-masted gaff schooner Zodiac, built in 1928 for the heirs to the Johnson & Johnson fortune.
The event is free, with a suggested donation of $5 per person to The Center for Wooden Boats."
