I had a Dr.'s appointment :(. Sorry to miss it and I'll try to be there next time.
Work is the curse of the leisure classes, but at least my work involves sailing and as luck would have it I was sailing at 2PM.
I looked through the archive and wonder if it could somehow be incorporated into the forum.
I see it was implied that one of the designs that did well in the design contest eas this http://www.bandyboats.com/sp.html

Sorry I missed it... I got a phone call from Israel, followed by one from Saipan, both about knotting work.... weird that two sides of the globe call me within four minutes of each other!
Will definitely try hard to be in for next weeks chat. I did read the transcript, tho.

I received a question about the A-Kanot from a poster. Here's the link:

(Thank God for Google translating services...)
The whole bunch of Segling Kanot in their various sizes look interesting, (perhaps I'm biased ;)) but there is fairly little information on them here in the US. The D-and E Kanot which seem to be used for both racing and coastal cruising in the waters of Sweden and Finland look like they could be good choices for the Maine coast.

Not sure if my employer would consider this a legitimate use of my time. How about doing it on a Saturday now and then. Or late afternoon? Or early evening. Best way to reach most of your readers I'd suspect. Though I'll be looking for something to do on Tuesday afternoons if the Great Contraction continues.
I'll check out the replay. Thanks again for reaching out to us.

I love his designs. There is a cool video there too....
