Looking around I found a firm that works with the current teams as well as the vintage teams.
Turns out that they help make parts for restorations as well as designing the current boats. Guess what they're wood! Covered in 'glass, but they're wood!  They're soon to release Kit boats! http://www.design1.com/news.htm
