We just bought this tired old boat and are in the process of a massive restoration. We are also trying to track down any info we can find on her history, stories, anecdotes, etc. We know she was built by Rodd Bros. in Victoria in 1930 for the Dept of Indian Affairs. We believe that she then went to the military, to Mines and Surveys and then to Immigration before being sold in 1971 (?). Does anyone out there remember this boat? If so, please contact us and pass on whatever info you may have.
