A great many Brothers live in Cleveland. More so than in the suburbs. Which Brothers were you looking for?

Hmm. An enigma, wrapped in a mystery, tied with a ribbon of B.S.

I think that "The Brothers" is mentioned in one of Roger Taylor's Good Boats books, but I'm not sure which, or if it's more than a mention en passant.

no, I have a BA but it's in latin so it may be a BS for all I know. You see, these brothers are twin brothers - you know, they look alike. they live in maybe Fairport Harbor but maybe further west. maybe i'll have to make some phone calls. and sorry to be amusing. maybe i should be looking for Charlie York? The Holy Man? I'll get back to you.

Apologies of presumption Ondine, but you do kinda' invite it with your lack of specificity. Why not just tell us a story, and ask if we can add to it? We're pretty good guys, open to such.

I don't get this. I know everyone in Fairport Harbor. They have to be Finn or Hungarian. I'll ask.

First, Ondine, you have to admit to your self and to others that you're out of control and helpless in the face of your adictions. Find an AA group near you. Go to the meetings. It works.

You know that movie, Round Cape Horn (or something like that) where the guy is shooting all this film in 1919 (or somesuch time) way up in the rigging of a German ship and he's narrating and saying things like, 'Safety? What's that, never heard of it.' - I'd love to get a copy of it.

That's "Around Cape Horn" with Irving Johnson and is available from Mystic Seaport.

Call them at (888)973-2767 and ask for extension 5386.

It's a great video, as is "Irving Johnson, High Seas Adventurer," also available from Mystic.

Alan
