I am trying to find plans for "Mystic", a 21 ft pocket cruiser designed by Robert Tucker, Middlesex, England, about 1960. Is Mr. Tucker still with us or has someone else continued his design office? Any lead would be helpful.

Art Pierson

Mike Field in Australia was kind enough to give the me the name and telephone number of Robert Tucker's son Anthony, who is carrying on the yacht design business. I called. Plans to Mystic are available. If anyone else is interested you can reach me at:arthurhpierson@worldnet.att.net. and I can relay his address.

Thanks again Mike.

Is "Mystic" a class name, or the name of a particular vessel, Art?

I don't know Mystic, but Tucker designed the 21' pocket cruiser Corribee in 1965. Bilge-keeler. Sail insignia is a trefoil. Early construction was timber clinker, but was later changed to grp.

Corribees were built by Newbridge Yachts from the late 60s until the company folded, late 80s.

There's a Corribee Owners Association at http://www.corribee.org.uk/

If this is no help, you might try ringing Tucker Designs, run by son Anthony (RT died in 98.) Their phone number is +44-1442-253-775.

Good luck, Mike.
