Any boat building interest in the Salem area?? (Salem Oregonthat is)

I begn mucking about with boatbuilding a year or so ago, but I am a real neophyte. I have interest, space, some tools. What I am looking for are other interested people in my area to share some coffee and spread a little saw dust. My current projects include an 18' sailing dory and a wood strip canoe.
