BLUE HERON, a Mud Peep design by Sam Devlin, is a 12′ sprit-rigged catboat. Christian Seger and his father, Chris, built BLUE HERON in Christian’s barn, from plywood and epoxy using the stitch-and-glue method. They’ll sail her on West Galveston Bay, Texas. Here she is at Lake Summerville, Texas, on sea trials with Christian at the helm and his wife, Lisa, relaxing in the cockpit.
