CREUZA DE M+ä was based on the design of a French Gig built in 1796. She is a participant in the international Atlantic Challenge rowing contests, which bring together young people from all over the world for several days of rowing and community on the water. The boat is 38'2" long, with a beam of 6'9" and draft of 14". Three Americans - Brian McCellan, John Grote, and Matt Klick built her. She was launched in Genoa Italy on June 5th, 2004, and participated in that year's Atlantic Challenge in Fishguard, Wales. She served as the host boat for the 2006 Atlantic Challenge, which was held in Genoa, Italy. Contact
