The Great Lakes Boat Building School offers a full time two year program in Classic Woodworking, Lofting, Traditional and Composite Wooden Boat Building, Yacht Joinery and Marine Systems.
Curriculum will include:
• Workshop safety & proper use of tools
• An overview of design and lofting
• Keel, stem and transom assembly
• Shaping and installation of timbers
• Planking
