AIRBORNE (ex-L’AIGLON) - Designed to CCA Ocean Racing Rules by Little Harbor Boatyard in 1958 (Ted Hood Design 581). Six hulls built in Japan for approximately $23,000 and launched between 1960 and 1965. Imported by Tor Trading Company, Inc. The hull was rigged and outfitted by Little Harbor Boatyard, and the Tor 40 sold new for approximately $35,000.
