Wooden Boats Only, Please:
Please post images/information on wooden boats only. That means the hull is wooden. A steel hulled boat with lots of pretty teak decking doesn't qualify.

Keep it Appropriate:
Please don't post inappropriate pictures or content... it's a family site, and hopefully there will be a bunch of kids posting boats they built.

Digital Images:
Please keep the original images under a megabyte. The program will automatically resize it for the quilt. Images must be jpeg (jpg) instead of .gif or .tiff or .pdf.

Upload Your Image: when you click that "Browse" button, you are browsing for the location of your image on your computer harddrive. You'll upload from your machine to ours.

Quilt Sequence:
The newest posted images will be placed on the upper left of the first quilt page, so when you come to the My Wooden Boat! home page, you'll always see the newbies first. Click the "Next" button at the bottom of the quilt, to see the more boats. Use your right mouse button, or browser back button to click back to quilt pages you've already visited.

Filling in the Info:
Please fill in as much as you can, especially designer and boat name, as they are searchable fields. The length field is what your boat's length over all (LOA) is considered. Please don't add foot and inch marks, as the program will add that information. In the description area, you can include other stats like sail area, engine, waterline length, history of the boat, homeport, where you like to cruise, paddle... whatever information you would like.

Non-Commercial:
There are other places to drum-up business for selling or chartering your boat, boat plans, and other items. Please DON'T post those items on My Wooden Boat. And please don't post commercial web sites within the text. We have display and classified ad folks who are great at getting results for you in WoodenBoat magazine. And now you can sell on-line with
