Started in 1986 by boat designer and software engineer, John Lockwood, Pygmy Boats produced North America’s first computer designed wooden sea kayaks. Since then we have expanded our line to include 22 kayak models, our wooden rowboat, the Wineglass Wherry, and our wooden canoe, the Taiga.
