Wooden Boat Building Courses at the Barbey Maritime Center, Astoria Oregon
Named in honor of the Barbey family, the historic 1925 Astoria Railroad Depot has been transformed and is dedicated to the preservation of traditional maritime skills and trades. In addition to housing courses, workshops and demonstrations of skills and trades relevant to the maritime culture of the Columbia River, it will also serve as the Museum's regional boat documentation center.
