We don't yet have the technology to make that happen. Will you print and snail mail the PDF to me? Sorry, no. If you want a printed version, you can order from our www.woodenboatstore.com site. Directions for Ordering Find the item you would like by going into the various categories linked at the top or left side of the page. Click on the title or picture of the item you want, to get to the “buy” section. Click the “add this to my cart” icon. Your shopping cart will then show with the item. If you choose to add more items click the “back to shopping” tab and repeat the previous steps to add other items to your cart. Once you are done shopping click the go to "checkout" icon. For new customers you will need to fill in your billing address, phone number, email address and create a password. Then click the "submit" icon. (If you are ordering from a country that does not use zip codes or postal codes you can use 5 x's in the zip code box.) Next fill in your credit card information and click the “continue checkout” icon. Next, confirm the information you have entered and what is in your cart. You will have the option to edit any of the information if it is not correct. You will also see the total for the order. If it is all correct, click the “confirm the order” icon. Next comes the Thank You! page. There you will have the option to download the files you have just purchased. Click the “download” icon. When you download, you'll want to save the file to your computer. This can be done in a couple of ways depending on the settings of your computer. You may get the option to Save to Disk which will save the file to the desktop or the downloaded files folder. Or the file may just open on your computer. If it opens wait for it to finish downloading and then click the save button. It may appear as a disk icon in the upper left corner of the screen next to the print icon. You will then have to select where you want the file saved. Once it is saved to your computer you can either print it or view it at your leisure. I can download study plans, but not magazines. Try from home instead of work. Your employer may be blocking larger downloads. I can't find the downloaded file. On a Mac, use the search (magnifier, upper right of top toolbar). Also, check your Downloads folder (lower toolbar or under your user on your Macintosh harddrive). On a Windows PC, search via the Start--> Search, type in the filename, or perhaps *.PDF. Also, download something else and then pay attention to where your files are downloaded to.... we have several freebie downloads (including our WoodenBoat Store Catalog) you could try. Other Bits I have other questions... and some good ideas for questions for this page. Who do I send them to? wbstore@woodenboat.com
Will your site work with WebTV? Sorry, not sure about that. When Jon started WoodenBoat magazine, was his phone really nailed to a tree down the road from his house in the woods? Yes. |
