Annual Shipwreck Weekend
The Institute of Nautical Archaeology (INA) and the Nautical Archaeology Program (NAP) at Texas A&M University will host Shipwreck Weekend on Saturday, April 18th. Dr. John Hale (University of Louisville), author of “Lords of the Sea” (2010) will deliver a lecture on ancient Greek triremes at 10:30 a.m. Hale’s lecture will be followed by research presentations by NAP graduate students, hands-on demonstrations, and guided tours of the NAP laboratories.
