Workstar 17

The Workstar 17, as Explorer, Fisherman and Rescue models.

Designed using the Prefix System™ by Rob Humphries and Working Boats UK Ltd (the predecessor of Pacific Workboats cc), the Workstar 17 is built from a kit of profiled 1/2″ (12mm) and 3/4″ (18mm) marine plywood. All the parts are dry fitted using tabs, slots and wedges and are then bonded with epoxy fillets.

Over forty Workstar 17s have been built from kits in half a dozen different countries and, almost always, by amateur and first-time builders.

The kit comes with an Assembly Manual, Sheet Schedule and a video.

The Licence Fee is USD480 per vessel (less a 10% discount for WoodenBoat readers).

The Workstar 17 is a well proven, rugged and capable small powerboat, suitable for both recreational and work boat use.
