1969 Brownell Sportfish
1969 Brownell 32′ Sportfish. 315-hp. Yanmar with 600hrs. Cold molded fiberglass over oak framing and diagonal mahogany planking - built like a Rybovich, Merrit, or Whiticar. Designed by Eldridge and McInnis - known for their smooth and dry ride through New England chop to get you out to the fish and back in comfort. Her Yanmar gets her up to 18-20knts. She sleeps five adults comfortably in 5 full length beds - 2 in the V berth, one on the dinette drop down, and two up in the cabin - that bench has a trundle. Ready for sea trials in Bridgeport or Norwalk depending on when ya catch me. Selling to downsize, and it breaks my heart. Kids want tubing and water sports. No AC (lots of room to add) no Radar, just a Garmin GPS map is all I ever needed. The radar mast has been shortened for a block pulley for sharks and bluefin. She’s got decades, if not longer, before needing anything more than weekend warrior attention - Paint being the current squeaky wheel. Her structure is 9/10, paint is 7/10.
