1977 RNLI SILVER JUBILEE LIFEBOAT. 37′ x 13′ 14 tons Rother class, self-righting lifeboat built for the Royal National Lifeboat Institute, the UK service. Only one in the USA. Vessel is wood framed construction, 1″ thick, double diagonal mahogany planks on oak frames, with further 1″ thick double skin underwater for beaching. Full watertight alloy superstructure. Layout, aft self-draining wheelhouse accessed by sliding doors, watertight engine-room, and fore cabin with roof hatch. Engine-room houses twin set, Ford based Mermaid, 4-cylinder marine diesels in very good running condition. In almost original service condition and period colors. Shipped to US in 2007, with USCG documentation. Needs cosmetic re-commissioning. Machinery is in working order with no known issues. Asking $35,000.
