2015 Grand Laker Canoe, aluminum trailer, all accessories, and Suzuki 2.5 HP 4 Cycle Motor

Description: The Grand Laker is a classic square stern canoe design developed in the 1920s in Grand Lake Stream Maine, explicitly to handle outboard motors. The canoe has always been garaged. It was a 3-year custom built by Ken Jones and Luther Wallis using Gil Kilpatrick’s design plans from his book, Building a Strip Canoe. It is 20 feet long, with a beam of 48 inches. The material is white cedar and oak lumber procured in Maine and processed in my workshop. All strips are of a bead and cove millwork design ¼ x ¾ inches. Fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin were applied to all the cedars to protect and give the canoe its strength and rigidity. Two layers on the bottom outside and the inside floor. Finish is four coats spar varnish. The boat weighs approximately 135 pounds. All fasteners and hardware are stainless steel. The canoe and trailer are titled and registered.
