37’ sloop designed by John Braidwood

VARUA was built in Ontario, Canada, in 1951 and found fame as the yacht in the 2008 film “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.” VARUA underwent an extensive refit in 2017-18, including a new Yanmar Diesel engine, new sitka spruce main mast, new teak cap rail, new sails, running and standing rigging. She is currently out of the water, stored under a custom canvas cover. Spars, rigging and sails are in indoor storage. All offers considered. Displacement 12,500; beam 8′1″; draft 5′10″.
