Ecco II is a beautiful 45′ trawler designed by Eldredge McInnis, built at Newbert & Wallace Shipyard in Thomaston Maine. Launched in 1970, built of 1.75″ mahagony planks on 3″ x 3″ white oak frames. Single Detroit Diesel 6-71, with a set of stern thrusters that work well for tight quarters. Three cabins forward (1 double berth, one cabin with bunks and one single berth). Two heads, one with a full-size shower stall. Full galley with 4 burner stove top and oven. Espar heater for year-round living (I’ve been comfortably living aboard in Maine for last 5 years), two 100+ gallon water tanks, lots of upgrades and structural work in recent years including new cutlass bearing, re-built rudder port, sistered frames, new composting toilet, newer bilge pumps and fresh water pump, new 8 volt batteries, etc, but always more to do. Last hauled in September 2017 for bottom paint and structural work. Ecco is in good shape and makes for a fantastic year-round liveaboard. $45,000 or best offer. Contact Mike.
