Biscayne Bay 14

Nat Herreshoff designed the Biscayne Bay 14 in 1925. This one was built by an instructor at the Carpenter's Boat Shop in Maine using traditional materials and marine plywood for the planking. There is a 500 pound lead keel as well as a centerboard. The boat was gone over last winter by the builder and is in great shape. She is fast and skims along with almost no wind. Nat Wilson main and club jib in good condition. Genoa and spinnaker also in good condition. There is an aging but still usable cockpit cover. The trailer is galvanized and has new springs, axel, hubs, wheels and tires. Asking $6,500.
