Class A Original Friendship Sloop Morning Star


PRICE REDUCED. “MORNING STAR,” Friendship Sloop Society No. 82 is a 28′ on deck Friendship Sloop built in 1912 by Albion Morse and completely rebuilt by Ralph Stanley in 1976, featured in the book, Ralph Stanley Tales of a Maine Boatbuilder. She has a full set of sails in great shape stored and maintained by Nat Wilson, Including a new Staysail Built by Nat Wilson in 2020, as well as spares. She was in the water in 2019 and 2020 but not 2021. She is currently stored in my barn. She has a 20-hp 3-cylinder beta marine BD 722 diesel engine, with 20 gallon fuel tank. There is built in ice box, galley with propane stove, two large water tanks with an electric pump and head. She was refastened in 2001.
