THAMES SKIFF circa 1870s. This (AA34) top-of-the-line model did survive mostly intact but in poor condition. The boat was built sometime in the 1870s by the well-respected firm of E. Messum for the Edgar family whose motto (Maun Do It) could still be seen on the oars prior to the restoration.
