Traditional English West Country gaff cutter workboat.  Built in Plymouth, UK — possibly as early as 1894, and believed to have worked as a fish boat and as an Exmouth Pilot boat under the name VENTURE by the Pym family of pilots. Converted to a yacht in 1938. 35′ length on deck plus bowsprit, 6′ draft. Snug interior. Traditional gaff cutter rig. Pitch pine on oak construction . 3-cylinder Lister diesel. New tan bark sail wardrobe and traditional standing rigging. Lapstrake rowing dinghy.  Price: $55,000 Canadian.
