Southwester dory designed by Chesapeake Light Craft, built in 2022 by Master woodworker with 50 years wood and fiberglass experience. 18′ 10″ x 5′ 2″; approx. 260 pounds. Double-masted lug rig; 100 sq. feet of sail; 800 pounds positive flotation under the seats; 12 cubic feet of storage under the hatches. All lines are at easy reach of the helm. Woods include okoume marine grade ply, mahogany, red cedar, white cedar, black walnut, birch and Douglas fir, held together with fiberglass, epoxy and lots of varnish. Sails: 4 oz. tanbark, Sailrite design. 2 custom oars; removable outboard motor mount (motor not included).
