Sterte sailboat, 29' built 1954 in Poole England

29′ Sterte class wooden sailboat. Designed by Fred Parker, Poole, England.. Built by Kitsons, Poole, England in 1954. Construction is a hybrid between traditional wood construction and plywood.. This is a project boat that needs a lot of work.. The good. It’s complete: hull, rigging, two sets of sails, lots of accessories. The bad. The plywood skin needs to be replaced. The glue in some of the laminated structural parts is no longer structurally sound, even though the wood is.. The wooden mast is in bad shape and is only good as a template for a new mast. Has a non-operational Palmer P-60 gasoline inboard engine.
