MILES CRADLE BOAT
Miles Macedo of North Providence, Rhode Island, launched his 3′ rocker dory on Christmas Day, 2012. His grandfather, Rod Fuqua, built the boat with cedar planking and oak stem and transom.

EDEN'S BOAT
When his grandchild Eden was born, Stan Swan started building her an Original Gloucester Rocker. After several more months than he anticipated, he finally finished it and presented it to one-year-old Eden on July 10th this year.

This little gem caught my attention and was as much fun to build as it looks. Its exaggerated curves and wave inspired rockers give it a cartoonish quality. Turns out its a tad small for me so Ill be giving it to a future skipper...

BLUEBIRD II
The Launchings section of WoodenBoat No. 225 featured Wayne Mueller's skiff BLUEBIRD, a 17′ 6″ design that Wayne based on Tom Hill’s Long Point skiff and Mark Murray's Sea Hoss skiff. BLUEBIRD was built from meranti and sapele marine plywood on sawn elm frames.
