Norwegian Yawl.

My father bought Birgit about 25 years ago and had her in pretty good shape. Unfortunately Birgit has been neglected for a few years.

Wooden Lightning 17′ sailboat. Sails, Seagull outboard, trailer. Stored in garage. Needs work. 401-272-3058.

40' diesel ketch. Both masts in very good shape. Mahogany-over-oak frames. Teak main deck. Designed in 1959 by Geerd N. Handel and built in 1969 in the Camden area. Center cockpit 12' beam.

This boat has gotten out of hand for my finances and energy. Requires a lot of work but has some very beautiful quality new hatches among other quality equipment.

Sabrina's stern

Sabrina was listed as a Save a Classic and purchased, with my help, by my son soon after graduating from the Boat School in Eastport. I had hoped that it would get restored and sold.

48′ spruce mast, 17′ boom, 12′ jib boom, 12′ spinnaker pole, stays, shrouds, turn buckles, blocks, sheets, seven bags of sails.

Free to an individual who wants a unique piece of Lake Union wooden boat building history. This vessel is transportable as her hull is sound. She needs a new transom, deck, and house.

34 foot LOA Gieiger Vigilant sloop

1947 Geiger Vigilant class sloop available for restoration.

Ted Brewer Carib 32′ LOA, 9′ 6″ beam, 4′ 8″ draft. Strip-plank, epoxy glued white cedar, white oak keel, deadwood, floors, etc. Hull planked, very fair, in very good condition.


Do you know anyone that likes projects? 1964, 40′ Owens power yacht, wood hull. Hull and bottom was rebuilt by expert carpenter with 2-3″ of epoxy between two 1/2″ sheets of marine plywood.

Custom-built 65′ Pirate Ship. Boat is built of Greenheart and cypress. Very strong; the boat was never finished; owner can not complete. Currently in water. Located in Maryland. 410-426-5341.

Northeast Harbor A-boat

1926 26′ Rice Bros.-built Northeast Harbor A-boat “Don Q” A 32, one of 50. Boat has sheerplank and garboard removed, as well as the deck and cockpit. Needs a total rebuild.
