Useful Knots 101

Join us for an informal hour of knot tying. We’ll practice several knots which have practical uses both afloat and ashore.

We’ll talk about what makes a knot appropriate for a particular task, and when there are better choices. You’ll take home samples you tied and diagrams to help you remember how to do it again. The joiner shop stove will keep us toasty and the coffee will be on. There will be plenty of time to socialize, tour the shop, and find out about current GHB projects.
