SOUND

David Eikamp writes that he has enjoyed every minute of the two years he spent building SOUND, and Iain Oughtred Spike sailing skiff. He bought the plans from The WoodenBoat Store, then got started on the construction. David acknowledges special thanks to his friends Peter Flury and Christian Neumann who supported him on the project. SOUND is planked with okoume marine plywood on frames made of European ash. David launched her on Lake Zug, near his home in Cham, Switzerland. He plans to sail her on other Swiss lakes and notes that she rows and sails very well.
