October 8th, 1977, twenty-four “21 feet sailing boats” single handed left Penzance (United Kingdom) for Antigua with a stopover in Tenerife.The smallest offshore racing boats were born and so was favourite race: the Mini Transat.

The Chesapeake Bay is home to many wonderful work boats, one of the most unique is the tiny Smith Island Crab Skiff. Our team race boat the “Twisted Oyster”, built and raced by a consortium of three friends, has been very successful.

A double version of the popular Kingfisher, the best recreational shells for both rough and smooth water.

Construction: Plywood planking over bulkhead-type frames
