SWEET CECILY
Peter Tomasi helped Harry and Martha Bryan with some painting, and received the plans for this 12' Fiddlehead decked canoe as a reward. He launched the canoe on August 31 at Button Bay, Lake Champlain, VT. He writes that "she is fun to paddle and easy to carry.
TRADITION II
David Freund and his family picked up their Lyman 1970 22' sleeper/runabout TRADITION II on December 2, 1999 in Sandusky, OH. Three generations of the family loaded her on a trailer and brought her to Syracuse, NY for a complete restoration.
PUFFIN
After the parts were cut from marine plywood by their grandfather, Tavish and Niam Rogers assembled their first boat using copper ring nails and polyurethane construction adhesive.
MISS DOREEN
Restorer and owner Reed Feuster says this "Duck Boat" sneakbox of the Diamond class was built by David Beaton and Son of West Montoloking, NH approximately 40 years ago. Fleets of these white cedar boats were raced by Bay Head, Mantoloking, and Manasquan River Yacht Clubs on Barnegat Bay.

Lucky Dog
This is my Doug Hylan designed Point Comfort 18, built and launched in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. It’s glass over marine ply to the designer spec with numerous interior changes including solid inwales, a center console , and exotic hardwood fore deck.
KALOS
The Salt Bay Skiff was the grand prize winner of the Family Boatbuilding Design Contest held by WoodenBoat in 2007. Carl Sylvester built KALOS from "Getting Started in Wooden Boats," the supplement in issues 199 and 200, over the course of ten months.
ROSA
I designed this 17′ 6″ flat bottom row boat based on my experience and respect for the late Pete Culler. She is glued lap construction of 9mm Okume side planking and a 12mm bottom using west system epoxy. Frames, skeg and keel strip are lumber yard fir.
