SVEFNTHORN
Viking Ship Wine and Liquor Cabinet. The keel is steam bent/laminated white oak. Planking is steam bent red oak. Decking is also red oak. The hinges are modufied to look as if covered in seaweed. The cabinet interior “trays” are koa and walnut, where drinks can be poured.

Paul Edgar sent these pictures of his recently launched MINOQUA, a 22′ Princess sharpie from B & B Yacht Designs.
DOUBLE TROUBLE
I built this Nutshell pram in the strip method of construction for my two daughters to learn to sail and row, hence the name “Double Trouble”. I have yet to add the mast for the sail rig, but we managed to put it in the water for rowing this past week.

TOM THUMP
Jim Inglis wanted a boat he could carry on his car while traveling around Australia with his camper trailer. He wanted a light, responsive boat capable of crossing open water, yet maintain a traditional look.
Baby Tender Arundel
She is named “Arundel” after her birthplace. My brother and I started work on her hull as a side project while attending the Landing School of Boatbuilding and Design in Arundel, Maine even although her completion and launch would take place in Arizona.
CAP NATURE
After visiting several wooden boat shows in the northeast, Andre Vachon finally built his own boat, CAP NATURE, and launched it in June 2005. CAP NATURE is a 16-foot long Stevenson Projects One Design.
REDBIRD CANOE
Woodrow Smith (standing) and Robert McDonnell (kneeling) built this Redbird design canoe, 17'9" long. They built her from scratch, starting with rough-cut lumber. They are proud of their work, as the canoe turned out to be a work of art.
